Steam was originally a 32-bit app. A while ago they released a 64-bit version but my experience was that it didn't automatically upgrade, I had to go to their website and manually install to get the 64-bit version. I have not played any games yet but the Steam app (64-bit version) appears to be running fine on the 10.15 beta.

A new Operating System, Catalina, has become available for Mac players as of 10/7/2019. While this OS was in beta, we discovered some compatibility issues with it and the ESO launcher. The ESO update on 10/9/2019 has resolved this issue, however you will need to reinstall your ESO launcher.
If you have updated your Mac OS to 10.15 (Catalina) Please follow these steps to delete and reinstall the ESO Launcher on your Mac.
- First, you must delete the ESO Launcher:
- Open Finder, go to Applications, and then look for the Zenimax Online folder.
- The Launcher folder will be under the main ZOS folder.
- or go to /Applications/ZeniMax Online/Launcher.app
- Go to https://account.elderscrollsonline.com/users/account and click Download Game. Don't worry, only the launcher will be downloaded and reinstalled.
- If you play through Steam, you will need to download ESO through your Steam library.
- If you have difficulty downloading through the accounts page, you can download directly here.
- For issues decompressing the install file, you can find an unpackaged alternate installer here.
We are aware of an issue where players may see a white screen when launching ESO and working on getting that fixed as soon as possible. In the meantime, please try one of these workarounds to resolve it:
- Change the video settings to full screen windowed and hit CMD-M twice
- Delete your UserSettings file

Enjoy traditional tabletop games and RPGs? SmiteWorks have release Fantasy Grounds Unity into Early Access recently along with Linux support.
A much expanded and improved version of Fantasy Grounds, which originally released in 2004 and does not support Linux. This new version does, built (as the name might suggest) with the Unity game engine giving them a lot more tools to work with.
Need to know what it is, not heard of it? Macos verifying app stuck. 'Fantasy Grounds is a dynamic system for playing a host of different roleplaying games online. It is used by hundreds of thousands of gamers worldwide to connect and play popular games such as Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, Savage Worlds, Call of Cthulhu, and so many more. This type of program is commonly referred to as a ‘virtual tabletop’, or VTT, due to their ability to emulate various parts of an RPG session in digital form.'

Turns out they actually had a Kickstarter campaign to fund it, back in 2019 this raised $509,343. Linux as a supported platform was part of that, so it's great to see them deliver. They even took on new developers recently, as noted in a Kickstarter update who helped get Linux sorted.

Steam Os On Mac
Sharing DLC between the original and this is a nice touch, as long as you use the same account for both versions it will give you any previous DLC you own. Considering there's absolutely tons of DLC, that was probably the only sane option. There's 1,658 of them. It sounds ridiculous but a lot of that is officially licensed content from D&D and various others. They also have upgrade options to get a discount if you own the older app.
You can find it in Early Access on Steam.
